Lincoln Center Pride 2023 Float Design

I had the privilege of designing Lincoln Center’s 2023 Pride float, combining the Summer for the City branding with the energy of the LGBTQ+ community. I wanted it to feel festive and full of joy, almost like a Carnaval parade, while still nodding to Lincoln Center’s identity with elements like their signature disco ball.

This was my mood board before starting the actual design.

These are the mechanicals for the float, plus a video from the parade showing how it all came to life. I used the Summer for the City shapes to create a repeating pattern in the colors of the LGBTQ+ community flag.
