BRIEF:
The goal was to merge the Summer for the City branding with the energy of the LGBTQ+ community. I wanted it to feel joyful and celebratory, almost like a Carnaval parade, while still tying it back to Lincoln Center’s identity through details like the signature disco ball and a custom pattern built from shapes in the 2023 SFTC branding.
ROLE:
Lead designer from start to finish, and this was an individual project. I was part of the in-house Lincoln Center design team.
TIMING:
The full project, from concept to prepping files for print, took about a week.
CREDITS:
Art Director, Pat Morin.

This was my mood board

These are the mechanicals for the float, plus a video from the parade showing how it all came to life. I used the Summer for the City shapes to create a repeating pattern in the colors of the LGBTQ+ community flag
